What is academic integrity?


Academic integrity is the commitment to stay honest and having good moral values in an academic or also doing something so that you can maintain the integrity in yourself.





What is plagiarism?

 - Plagiarism is the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off an one's own.
 - According University of Oxford, plagiarism is presenting someone else's work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printer or electronic form, is covered under this definition.

Preventing Plagiarism

  a. Planing your paper
      - consult with tour instructor/lecture
      - plan your paper
      - take effective notes

   b. Writting your paper
      - when in doubt, cite sources
      - make it clear who said what
      - know how to paraphrase
      - analyze and evaluate sources

GPA & CGPA

CGPA stand for Cumulative Grade Point Average. GPA is calculated for a single term of a year, whereas CGPA is calculated for the entire duration of a course. Many colleges have acut off CGPA for admission into different courses. This mean that a student must consistently obtain high GPA.
