TOPIC 2: GOAL SETTINGS



Everyone has their own goals no matter how big or small their goals. What is goal?
Goal is a object of a person's ambition or effort, an aim or desired result. A goal can give a person something positive like motivated and dont give up to get what they want.

What is SMART GOAL?

SMART goal is used to help guide goal setting.




a) Specific
   - well defined, clear and unambiguous

b) Measurable
   - with specific criteria that measure your progress towards the accomplishment of the goal

c) Achievable
   - not possible to get

d) Realistic
   - relevant to your life purpose

d) Timely
   - with a clearly defined timeline including a starting date and a target date you archive your goal.


A goal should be:
  - your own goal make by yourself not others (chosen yourself)
  - you can archive it
  - positive goal
  - finite
  - don't ever give up till you achieve your goal

ACTIVITY 2

Writting Effective Goal Statement - The 5 Steps Approach

1) Write down what you want to accomplish.

2) Write down any obstacle.

3) Write down resources available for you.

4) Renew and revise your tentative goal statement.

5) Polish your goal statement.
